Who we are

When this policy says “we,” we mean Almond Blossom and the people who run it. You can reach us through our contact page.

What this app is — and what it isn’t

Almond Blossom is a 5-minute daily wellbeing ritual: a quote, a card, a gratitude, an intention. It is not a medical device, not therapy, and not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible.

When you sign up:

• Your email address (so you can sign in and we can write to you when the app is ready)

When you use the app (later, once features ship):

• The text you write in your gratitude and intention entries
• Which cards and quotes you’ve seen
• Your language preference (English / Türkçe)
• Basic technical data: device type, browser, app version (helps us fix bugs)

What we don’t collect:

• Real name, phone number, address — none of these are required
• Location, contacts, photos — we don’t ask for any of these
• Tracking identifiers from third-party advertisers
• Health data (your gratitude entries are yours; we don’t analyze them)

How we use your data

• To let you log in and access your account
• To save your ritual entries so you can come back to them
• To send you the occasional product email (e.g., “the app just launched”) — never marketing spam
• To diagnose crashes and improve the app

We will never sell your data. We will never share your gratitude or intention entries with anyone. They are written to you, by you, and stay that way.

Where your data lives

Authentication, database, hosting, and email delivery all run on EU-region service providers chosen for their privacy practices. The full list of processors will appear here before launch.

We chose EU-region storage so that GDPR protections apply by default, regardless of where you live.

Cookies and tracking

We don’t use third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. We use only:

• Authentication cookies (so you stay logged in)
• A preference cookie for your language choice

No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access all the data we have about you
• Export it in a machine-readable format
• Correct anything that’s wrong
• Delete your account and all your data

To exercise any of these, write to us via our contact page and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

Almond Blossom is not intended for users under 16. We don’t knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, please write to us via our contact page and we’ll delete the account.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and email you for any meaningful change.
